Our Accounting staff are key members of our team as they ensure accuracy in numbers reported to customers and to management for making key decisions. This individual must have a good understanding of accounting principles and love of working with numbers.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
General Duties
Daily interaction with customers over the telephone
Order Entry on a daily basis
Monthly bank and account reconciliations
Weekly Accounts Receivable (collections)
Working with Corporate Controller in Accounts Payable
Verifying/posting daily payments
Ensuring accuracy of orders before processing by warehouse staff
Preparing daily bank deposits
General Filing and Organizing records
Order Entry
Input of daily customer orders
Input of Accounts Payable
Other General data entry as required
Equipment/Software Used
Personal Computer with Windows operating system
10 key calculator
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Powerpoint/Outlook)
Simply Accounting and MYOB
Physical/Time Demands
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00 pm – punctuality enforced

Work Experience
General Accounting/Bookeeping background
3+ years of accounting experience in an office environment
