JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES

General Duties

 

                     Produce roll and sheet inventory to include converting, wrapping and stocking

                     Review all orders for accuracy with customer purchase order

                     Assist in general cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and equipment

                     Adhere to opening and closing procedures for warehouse and office and the overall building

                     Answer phones in relief of office personnel or when needed

                     Assist with equipment/printer assembly

                      Assist with inventory counts as needed

 

Order Entry

 

                     input orders into accounting system

                     assist with manual order entry system

 

Shipping / Receiving

 

                     Assist with product packaging – adhere to company quality standards

                     Receive and stock incoming shipments

                     Follow company policy with regards to damaged and returned product

                     Sign for incoming deliveries once approved by whse supervisor/manager

 

 

Equipment Used

 

                     Calculator

                     PC Applications – Microsoft Excel, Corporate Email,

                     Photocopier, fax machine

                     Forklift, pallet jack, two wheel dolly, inventory cart

                     Paper Converting Equipment – Vorwood, Paper Slitter, Table Saw, Paper Sheeter

                     Tape Gun, Box cutter

 

Physical/Time Demands

 

                     Frequent standing, walking, reaching and bending

                     Warehouse hours Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – overtime by request  - optional

                     Moderate physical effort

                     Warehouse Environment

                     Flexible work schedule – punctuality enforced

Work Experience

 

                     General Warehouse/Distribution experience an asset

                     Warehouse equipment experience an asset

                     Prior delivery experience an asset

                     Valid driver’s license without limitations
